Frequently Asked Questions

  • Hypnotherapy is a gentle, guided process that helps you enter a deeply relaxed and focused state, sometimes called hypnosis. In this state, your mind becomes more open to positive suggestions, insight, and change. It’s a natural state of awareness that many people compare to deep relaxation, meditation, or being absorbed in a book or movie.

  • No. You remain aware and in control the entire time. Hypnosis is not mind control, and you cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes. Most clients remember their session and often describe the experience as calm, peaceful, and empowering.

  • A session generally lasts 60–75 minutes. We begin with a conversation about the issue you’d like to address and the results you hope to achieve. The hypnosis portion usually lasts 20–30 minutes and is designed to create a calming, grounding, and deeply restorative experience.

During hypnosis, many clients feel physically relaxed while remaining mentally aware and engaged. Some feel light and peaceful, while others feel deeply absorbed and inwardly focused. There is no “perfect” way to experience hypnosis—everyone responds a little differently, and all of those experiences can still be effective.

A typical session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. We start with an interview to discuss the issue and desired outcome. The actual hypnosis is approximately 20-30 minutes.

  • This depends on your goals, the nature of the issue, and how deeply rooted the pattern is.

Some clients experience noticeable shifts in just a few sessions, while others choose ongoing support for deeper transformation. During your initial consultation, we’ll talk about what you’d like to achieve and determine the best approach for your needs.

My goal is always to create a process that feels intentional, personalized, and effective — never rushed, and never more than necessary.

  • Yes—most people can experience hypnosis. In fact, you’ve likely entered a naturally hypnotic state many times before, such as when you’re deeply absorbed in a movie or completely immersed in a good book.

Hypnosis is a normal and natural state of focused awareness that most people experience every day. What matters most is your willingness to participate and your openness to the experience.

You don’t need any special ability—just a willingness to relax, follow gentle guidance, and allow yourself to enter a calm, focused state.
